About typinggif
typinggif is a dedicated typing text GIF maker that renders every animation inside your web browser. Your animation text, design changes and generated files stay on your device and are never uploaded to a server.
You can generate and download animations without creating an account. Free exports produce GIFs up to 800 px on the longest edge at 15 fps for up to 10 seconds under 50 MiB, and silent 720p MP4 videos at 30 fps for up to 10 seconds. Free exports carry no watermark and no export-count limit.
What typinggif does
The tool turns a short line of text into a typing animation in three styles: typewriter, terminal and word by word. You choose an open-license font, colours, size, timing and rotating endings, then download a GIF or a silent MP4.
For larger resolutions and longer durations, optional one-time credit packs cost USD 9 for 5 exports or USD 19 for 20 exports. One credit authorises one paid export, credits never expire, and there is no subscription. Paid exports allow GIFs up to 1280 px and 15 seconds under 50 MiB, or silent 1080p MP4 up to 60 seconds. GIF exports also have a 250 million pixel-frame budget; maximum duration depends on size. The same work and settings can be retried for 24 hours without another credit, and unused credits can be refunded within 7 days of purchase.
What typinggif does not do
typinggif is an export generator, not a stock GIF library. It does not provide a public gallery, host community uploads, or give web links for viewing rendered files online. It does not add audio, edit an existing GIF, generate AI footage or create photo avatars.
We do not sell personal data, use your text for AI training, or rely on a third-party AI rendering service. No separate registered company name or postal address is published because none is on record.
Who runs it
typinggif is operated as an independent software service. It has no corporate affiliation, sponsorship or partnership with Tenor, Giphy, Google, Microsoft, Stripe, PayPal or GitHub. Those names describe compatibility or a payment or sign-in option only.
